Transfer Scholarships


2025-2026 Transfer Student Scholarships

To qualify for transfer scholarship consideration, you must be regularly admitted to the University as a transfer student and meet the following general eligibility requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship
  • 12+ hours of college-level coursework
  • Must be eligible to return to your previous institution
  • Must not be a transfer re-entry student
  • Must not possess a bachelor’s degree

Transfer Scholarships 

Transfer students may be eligible for one of the two following scholarships. 

ScholarshipEligibility Requirements

Academic Transfer Scholarship

$700 per semester* for 6 semesters

  • Regular admission to the University as a transfer student
  • U.S. citizenship
  • 12+ credit hours
  • 3.2 cumulative GPA on all college coursework

Associate Degree Transfer Scholarship

$950-$1,200 per semester* for 6 semesters

  • Regular admission to the University as a transfer student
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Associate Degree
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA on all college coursework

Supplemental Transfer Scholarships

These scholarships can be earned in addition to either the Academic Transfer Scholarship or the Associate Degree Transfer Scholarship.

Out-of-State Transfer Scholarship

Full non-resident fee exemption

$6,864 per semester* for 10 semesters

  • Regular admission to the University as a transfer student
  • U.S. citizenship
  • 12+ credit hours
  • 2.75 cumulative GPA on all college coursework

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

$500 per semester* for 4 semesters
