2025-2026 First-Time Freshman Scholarships
First-Time Freshman Scholarships are offered for 8 semesters (except where noted) and require all of the following:
Students must meet all requirements by May 31st of their graduating year.
ACT 32+ | SAT 1420+
3.0+ cumulative GPA
$1,500 per semester
$5,749 per semester for housing and meal plan in a shared suite-style unit on campus
Campus Scholarship Job (optional job enables you to earn up to $1,200 per semester)
Total: $67,592*+
ACT 28-31 | SAT 1300-1410
3.0+ cumulative GPA
$1,400 per semester
$2,653 per semester for four semesters to cover a portion of housing in a shared suite-style unit on campus
Total: $21,812*
ACT 23-27 | SAT 1130-1290
3.0+ cumulative GPA
$1,300 per semester
Total: $10,400*
Louisiana residents who meet our scholarship requirements likely qualify for the Louisiana TOPS program. Be sure to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for TOPS.
In addition to the scholarships listed above, first-time freshmen may also qualify for the following:
