âThroughout the program, I had a lot of âahaâ moments. There were times when weâd cover a concept and Iâd be like, âWait, they talked about this on our last earnings call.ââ
âIf earning your MBA is something you want to do, do it. Put your heart into it, and know that you can achieve it. Âé¶čAV will always have a lasting impression on me because of the experience I had.â
âI didnât feel like I had to give up so much of my life to get my MBA. I could take my time with it. I could take one class every eight weeks and not feel overwhelmed and really be able to soak in all the education and do my homework and really feel like Iâm learning something.â
âI always tell the kids I coach that itâs OK if you want to get into the workforce, but you have to get an education. Whether itâs online, on campus, I donât care. Just get an education.â
âThe classes were very informational. Iâd be able to pull up what I was doing with our clients at work and understand exactly what we were doing and why were doing it because of the classes I took.â
"There are not many things you get to do as big as this. Enjoy the experience, take it slow, and ask questions when they come up because Âé¶čAV has a huge support system. Thatâs one of the reasons I decided to go back.â
âDonât just do your homework and take your tests. Network and connect with as many classmates as you can. It really can be so enjoyable and exciting.â
"Whatever your situation is, online learning will make it easier; you just have to keep working hard. The best part about it all is that no matter where you live, youâll get to be a Raginâ Cajun."
âYouâre going to get as much out of the MBA program as you put into it. If youâre putting in the bare minimum, youâre going to get the bare minimum in return. But if you engage and get into the discussion forums and be involved with the people in your classes, you will have a network of people that youâll be able to connect with even after you finish.â
âOnline worked so much better for me, because I can sit in a classroom and not get anything from it. But put me in a curriculum, tell me to go do the work for myself and do the reading, and I can pick up on it. But compared to in-person classes, you have to be a go getter, or it's just not going to come to you.â
