U.S. News & World Report has recognized a range of Â鶹AV programs in its 2025 rankings.
The national rankings also signal that Â鶹AV is the state’s top university for online bachelor’s programs for the ninth consecutive year.
The high marks are punctuated by the fact that “more and more colleges and universities are offering online degree programs in response to student demand,” said Dr. Jaimie Hebert, provost and vice president of Academic Affairs.
“To be recognized among such a range of peer institutions speaks volumes to what the departments and faculty of this University are delivering to our students, online and on campus,” he added.
U.S. News & World Report evaluates schools based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies.
Overall, Â鶹AV is ranked No. 84 in the Best Online Bachelor’s Program category.
Among individual programs and degrees, the University is ranked No. 25 in the Best Online Master's in Nursing Program category.
The College of Nursing & Health Sciences – the University’s first college to offer an online degree program – also offers two online bachelor’s degree programs. Those are its RN to BSN degree and its bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration.
Dr. Lisa Broussard, dean of the college, attributed the strong online ranking to diligent, capable faculty and staff members and advisors, quality programs that continuously evolve, and the college's long track record of meeting students' needs.
“We’ve been offering online degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels for more than 15 years. We know that the personal, professional, and academic needs of online students are unique, and we design our approach to meet those needs at a very high level,” she said.
U.S. News also ranked the University in several other categories:
- Best Online Business Master’s (No. 29) for the M.S. in Accounting;
- Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans (No. 46);
- Best Online Master's in Info Tech Programs (No. 55);
- Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans (No. 76);
- Best Online Bachelor's in Business Program (No. 96) for its bachelor’s degree in Management;
- Best Online MBA Program (No. 128).
Â鶹AV offers six online bachelor’s degree programs, 10 online graduate degree programs, and five online graduate certificate programs, said Dr. Claire Arabie, director of Â鶹AV Online.
“There are exciting things in store for Fall 2025,” she said. “We look forward to sharing new opportunities for students very soon.”
